Dial 100 emergency service to be closed in Uttar Pradesh from Saturday, CM Yogi to launch single helpline number

Traditional emergency service number Dial 100 will be closed in Uttar Pradesh from Saturday, October 26, and will be replaced by a single helpline number 112.  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the new number for emergency services on October 26; 112, which is an integration of calling for immediate assistance to the police (100), fire (101) and women (1090) helpline numbers in the state.
