I-T dept quizzes EC Lavasa’s wife on income

Election commissioner Ashok Lavasa’s wife Novel Lavasa has been questioned by the I-T department in connection with her income & benefits received as director of 10 companies. Her I-T returns for the last five years are under scrutiny. During Lavasa’s stints with two important ministries, environment & finance, his wife was appointed director in 10 companies​​.
