A scientific study found that the best way to avoid bites from the pests is to listen to Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites, a track by Skrillex. Mosquitoes were “entertained” by the track and attacked hosts later and less often than those in a dubstep-free context.
Man walking lizard told to put it on a lead
A man who walks his 5ft-long lizard in a park has been told to put it on a lead. Gary Smith, from Derby, was initially banned from walking his lizard, called Thor, in the local park but has now been allowed to, provided he keeps it leashed. “He could do a lot of damage, his claws could slice your arm or head open,” concedes Smith. “But that would be very out of character.”

A photograph which allegedly shows Elvis Presley boarding a helicopter hours after he died has been shown to a former LA cop. “There were men surrounding Elvis that looked like government agents,” said Monte Nicholson. “The curious thing about this picture is this individual claimed it was taken several hours after Elvis allegedly died at Graceland.”
