Corbyn is married to Mexican lawyer and activist Laura Álvarez. (Pic Shutterstock) Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has been sworn in as Mexico's new president, after his landslide win in July. The 65-year old AMLO, as he is more commonly referred to, is starting his six-year term with a promise to end corruption, poverty and extreme violence.
