A New Jersey man visiting West Virginia has reportedly paid $1,635 (£1,160) for an Uber trip after drunkenly ordering a ride home instead of to his accommodation. Kenny Bachman told local media he woke up two hours into the 300-mile trip, and continued the journey because he didn’t know where he was. Bachman challenged the fare, but was forced to pay. He also rated the driver five stars.
Chinese condoms ‘too small’ for Zimbabwe
A Chinese condom manufacturer is considering making its product in varying sizes, after Zimbabwean health minister David Parirenyatwa complained that they are too small for his country’s men. Parirenyatwa has called on local manufacturers to start making condoms so they wouldn’t be reliant on imported goods.
Family assaulted by naked man covered in cooking oil
A Pennsylvania man is a facing charges after he reportedly assaulted his family while under the influence of LSD. Police attending the call-out found 19-year-old Lonnie Beatty naked except for one sock, and covered in cooking oil. Beatty was subdued using stun guns and taken into custody.
